Final Goodbyes

Seeing as I was getting rid of my ’5′ I thought I would treat it to one last photoshoot but this time it was going to have a little twist. I spoke to a good friend of mine who is currently doing various modelling contracts and she was more than happy to help.
As most of you know I have been working on this car for about a year and a half. It has had its up and downs but finally I have decided to move on. I am getting older and a little less wise so i have decided my empty wallet can afford to run an s14a as a daily… yeah.. why not!?

Anyways back to the car and the photoshoot. So I decided to do this last photoshoot of it looking how I wanted it minus said BGW but either way I was pretty happy with how it had turned out. I thought to myself what havent I done and instantly thought I havent photographed anyone with the car. I called my friend Kelly who was more than happy to model for me and next thing you know were out shooting in what can only be described as ‘unsuitable conditions’.

I thought the car suited her ‘style’ so I wanted to portray that in the photos and make her seem less like she has just been placed there. Considering the light disappearing nearly instantly and me not remembering to bring my flash I had to make do with what I could but I think what I managed to capture works.

I have to say I really did think that car was awesome and its a shame its been broken down in bits/standard car now but for the short period I had it during its life i think i made quite an impression. Took it from a red 1.6 automatic standard MX5 EUNOS import to a 1.8 Manual street weapon. My only criticism is that it needed more power… hopefully the s14a wont disappoint.
