Sizzla's Evo

The car scene is very diverse at the moment, with many expensive and unique tastes out there.

Sizzla’s Evo is not just a show car it’s built with one purpose in mind to be driven fast and hard.

Not sure if many of you reading this will know or remember the Initial D Manga? I grew up with these books and anime on TV and Sizzla’s Evo just brings back those teenage memories.

Reason being that it just reminds me of building an all out Jap retro motor for one purpose only. That being able to race and compete amongst other drivers in Touge battles, uphill and downhill sprints. The Mitsubishi’s Evolutions 4wd drive system proved amazing on numerous occasions.

The Evo’s began its build when it was purchased in Jan 2010. The best thing for used cars is a trusty whole car over haul for peace of mind. However two days after the service the Evo developed a splutter! Sizzla thought it would be an easy fix so changed the coil pack thinking it would solve the problem, but still the same. So he then went to his trusty engine builder Raufy of car surgeon.

From here on they took the head off, and saw that a piston had cracked, not the best thing that could happen to a newly purchased car. It was decided there and then that the engine will be built back to standard using M.R pistons/rods.
